Congratulations to JAY LANG and STEVE KOHMAN who took the top two spots in the PGT World Amateur Championship qualifier. The two low net 54 hole total scores gets these players an all inclusive trip (airfare, hotel, 19th hole party every day, and entry into the WAC) to participate in the WAC the first week of September in Myrtle Beach. They will go up against over 5000 other golfers from across the world for a chance to be crowned the world champion.
Numerous other players from the PGT will be participating as well in the WAC. Let's hope we continue to play well enough to have even more champions from Pittsburgh.
Olde Stonewall proved to be a great final round for the WAC, and a great tournament course in general. This could be the toughest back nine of any course we have played. Management is great to work with and we will return each year.
