Avalon at Buhl Results, PCS #16---Sunday August 7, 2022--Split Field Player Option

Buhl scores historically show that the course does play longer and harder than it seems. All round times were consistent around 4 hours 42 min, as we followed a slower smaller group out in front of us. We only play this split field player option format once a year to mix things up. An interesting idea was talked about yesterday for future formats. We could just have our standard A-B-C flight tournament, and as an additional optional side game, offer an open flight for all players for separate payouts and skins. As always, suggestions for what you may want to see (venues, formats, side games, etc...) are always welcome and if we can implement them, we will offer it.
Format at Buhl was that players pick the flight they want to pay in based on entry fee and payouts. Congratulations to all the winners at Avalon at Buhl.

#REMINDER-all players MUST promptly and correctly post all their own rounds to GHIN or you may receive a penalty score and/or service charge.....and make sure it is posted as a COMPETITION round if it was a tournament. Also, make sure slope and rating (tees played) is correct, and you should enter scores hole by hole if available to make sure it is properly reduced if needed (max score allowed per hole). If the tees you played are different than what is in the system, you can simply go to www.ghin.com to manually enter course name, slope, rating, and total 18 hole score.
(you have to know if any hole is reduced for posting purposes (max per hole is par + 2 + however many strokes you get on that particular hole based on your current GHIN index).

NOTE: you must promptly get your round posted after play because the GHIN system updates players indexes every day and we need the differential number for your next tournament handicap calculation.

It only talkes a minute to post your score, but please don't rush through the process and make a mistake. Make sure all the data is entered correctly before you click the final post button. We will display the GHIN reports so players can see if they posted something wrong, and we will correct any mistakes.

Step by step instructions on how to correctly enter your score is always posted at the registration and scoring table.
It is your responsibility to know how to do this and post it properly to avoid service charges.
